Conversations after a burial

By Yasmina Reza

Yasmina Reza’s play unfolds over the course of a single day, from noon until evening, yet time stands still as we witness a family lingering in a state of mourning. They talk, smoke, and go for walks whilst attempting to come to terms with the loss of the family’s central patriarch, a man whose presence continues to cast a long shadow over their lives.
